You’ll be one of the early employees of our awesome hardware engineering team. This is a Generalist role, you’ll take responsibility for electronics design and implementation for most products at Futuristic Labs, you will have the opportunity to freely define and expand your role as you see fit.
Requirements
You should be able to take new, highly technical ideas and prototypes to robust, factory-ready implementation. You will work with our Software Developer, Mechanical Engineer & Industrial Designer to build great products. You will be involved in all aspects of the design, development and manufacturing of the electronics hardware.
In short, all things related to electronics will be handled by you:
- Hardware component selection & research
- PCB design
- Writing firmware.
- Writing code for interfacing various components like sensors, display, heating modules, dispensing modules etc.
We are a just starting, everyone wears several hats. You should be comfortable working outside the boundaries of traditional engineering disciplines. You should also good at context switching as we will be working on multiple projects at a time.
We prefer people who had experience of 2-3 years in the production chain of consumer products.
We have a fast-paced startup environment and you should be able to employ creative problem solving to overcome engineering challenges. We want folks who are risk-takers, with an independent mind and the ability to lead.
